Spring Refreshment

Yes, spring is almost here. Spring is all about color, so we decided to do a quick header/background change. I think it gives the site a more sophisticated feel upon entry. Our spring men’s min-catalog is still available for download in the post below. All those shirts will soon be posted in both our Zazzle shop and our online store, which is currently out of stock. However, keep a look-out for an update on that page. I will also soon show off what ESK has in store for all you gals out there. So until the next update, peace! Now get out and ride!

Lazy Days at ESK

This is what our staff was at all weekend. Ontario Reign against Stockton Thunder, including Fire on Ice 2 which is firefighters playing hockey. This was to blame for lack of updates and lack of showing up at Chula Vista. Hope everyone had a great race weekend!

ESK Joins Forces with Sing For A Cure

January 11th, 2009 – Apple Valley, CA -  Extreme Sports Konnection is proud to announce a partnership with Sing For a Cure, a charity fund-raising group based in Portland, Oregon. Sing For a Cure began through Twitter, donating one cent per follower, similar to the charity organization Skate for Cancer. In an effort to earn more donations for the ACS (American Cancer Society) they had introduced a line of products beginning with bracelets and keychains. As of today, you can now purchase a Sing For a Cure t-shirt, with all profit going directly to the ACS. These shirts were designed in collaboration with ESK. Shirts are currently available in white/black, white/pink, black/silver, and black/white, with both short-sleeve and long-sleeve available for men and women. T-shirts can be currently bought via the Sing for a Cure Online Store and will soon be posted in the ESK Online Store. This is a great way to donate to the ACS and flaunt your support for cancer. You can follow Sing For a Cure on Twitter by clicking this link. Together we can find relief through music.

A Bit of Downtime

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. Here at the ESK offices, we have realized that when it rains, it pours. Our computers have been sadly passing on to the great office building the sky. Among these computers was our main design machine, which held every single shirt, logo, flyer, and concept art from the past four years. We are currently working on recovering it. But until then, ESK will be in a bit of a slump. However to tide everyone over, here are a few preview shots of our new shirts for 2010. Enjoy!

Injury Report

1011092129-00Today our good friend and ESK/Maxx Powersports driver, Nathan Tornero, got out of the hospital. At the “King of the Streets” race in Lancaster, California, Nate got into a serious accident. He must of thought he was a member of the BMX team, as he slammed into a wall, got two feet of air, pulled a 720, and then landed it. However, it was a very hard landing. Upon hitting the ground, he completed destroyed the chassis, axels, crank, and bearings in his Margay racer. After this crash, we wound up in a Lancaster hospital with pinched nerves in his back and three sprained vertebrae. He is saying all will be well, and is looking forward to his next race after he is fully healed.
